Sea Runner Guide Service prides itself on providing top quality gear for our guests. Our rods are made by Scott and Sage and our reels are Ross and Abel. We provide waders and have some rain jackets on hand if we get to fish in the rain. We will provide drinks, snacks and a light lunch on our half day trips or a full lunch on our full day trips.
Guests are encouraged to dress in layers and to lean more towards synthetic clothing such as fleece, capelin, or gortex as opposed to cotton. Wear warm socks and bring a warm hat, gloves, and a good rain jacket. You may also want to bring a camera, binoculars, sunglasses, water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. We will have some loaner items available, so if find yourself without something, we can usually make you comfortable. If you have any of your own fly fishing gear that you' d like to bring along, please feel free to do so.
EXTRA COSTS:
Fishing License- A $20 fishing license is required by the State of Alaska for all those fishing in Alaskan waters. King salmon fishermen are required to purchase an additional $10 King Stamp. You are welcome to pick this up in advance, or your guide will have some on hand to purchase.
